How to get here
Getting to Hueco Studio from Seville is easy. The studio is located in Cantillana, a town in the Guadalquivir Valley around 30–40 minutes from the city, with connections by road, train and bus.
If you are travelling from further away, Seville Airport is also within comfortable driving distance.
If you choose to come by train, you can reach Cantillana using the C1 and C3 Renfe Cercanías lines, which connect the town with Seville and other areas of the province.
If you prefer to come by bus, the M-216 line operated by Autocares Paulino connects Cantillana with Seville. The stop in Seville is located near the Arco de la Macarena, next to the Andalusian Parliament.
CANTILLANA
Cantillana is a town with a rich cultural identity, located in the Vega Alta of the Guadalquivir, close to the point where the Viar River meets the Guadalquivir and at the foot of Sierra Morena.
Its location, climate and natural surroundings make Cantillana a warm place with a strong local character, also reflected in its gastronomy and in local products such as oranges and artichokes.
Cantillana has also been, and continues to be, a place where many artists come from.
One of its most important cultural figures is José Pérez Ocaña, an artist, painter, performer and activist born in Cantillana in 1947. Ocaña became a key figure of the Spanish counterculture during the Transition and a symbol of freedom, disobedience and the defence of sexual and gender diversity.
The Banda de Música La Soledad de Cantillana is also an important part of the town’s cultural identity, with excellent musicians who continue to bring talent both locally and beyond.
