Origins
During 2023, the studio was designed and built little by little, with a lot of love and hands-on work, shaping the special and cosy atmosphere that defines it today.
Hueco Studio was born when Lolo Ramos returned to Andalusia after spending several years living in Berlin, where he gained and deepened his knowledge of music and sound. The project was officially founded in 2024 as a recording studio in Cantillana, near Seville, created to inspire, encourage creativity and work at a calm pace — with the feeling of being at home.
Philosophy
The idea behind the studio is to offer a cosy space where you can feel inspired, create, and share what connects everyone: music and art.
Hueco Studio is not a conventional recording studio. It is not located in an industrial estate on the outskirts of the city, but in a typical Andalusian house, with its patio and a mesa camilla (in winter). When it comes to creating music — or any other form of art — we believe it’s essential to feel comfortable and free from pressure, as if you were “at home”. This concept turns the studio into a private, warm and distraction-free space, designed to work with calm and creative freedom.
We aim to be an inclusive and inspiring space where everyone can feel safe and free to create. We firmly believe in the power of art to express and unite people emotionally, beyond gender, linguistic and geographical barriers.
The figure of Baguira is very important to us. As a studio assistant and muse for the inspiration of many, her presence is always indispensable.
